On Monday 25 March, the egg hunt kicked off at the HELUKABEL office. 10 Easter eggs were cleverly hidden in both obvious places and more challenging nooks and crannies. Two of our most competitive employees, Sine Sørensen and John Heri Larsen, showed impressive willpower and determination in their search for the hidden eggs.

In the end, it was Sine Sørensen who, with remarkable tenacity and a keen eye, discovered the last egg hidden deep inside our EKD cable chain system in the center of our Taastrup office. Congratulations to Sine Sørensen, who managed to find five out of the ten eggs scattered around the office. This reminds us that it's not only the destination, but also the journey that counts.

On Tuesday 26 March, we continued our Easter celebrations with a heartwarming tradition: cuckoo letters. Cuckoo letters are a charming Danish Easter tradition that goes way back in time and brings a special joy to Easter celebrations. These small letters, often handwritten and decorated with spring flowers and symbols, are traditionally sent by friends, family and colleagues as a fun and loving gesture in the run-up to Easter.

The uniqueness of cuckoo letters lies in their secretive nature; the sender typically hides their name in the letter, replacing it with a cryptic sign or string of dots. The recipient is then faced with the amusing task of guessing who sent them the letter. Traditionally, it was said that if the recipient guessed correctly, the sender should give them an Easter gift, but if the recipient couldn't guess, they should give the sender an Easter gift instead.

The playful and mysterious nature of gækkebreven makes them a beloved part of Danish Easter celebrations and creates a sense of joy, anticipation and community among those who participate in the tradition. Here at HELUKABEL Denmark, we decided to give them a twist by having them pretend to be from famous artists and personalities. It was fun to see if our colleagues could guess which celebrity was behind each letter.

Easter quiz

On Wednesday 27 March, it was time for an exciting Easter quiz at the HELUKABEL office. Three razor-sharp questions about Easter were put together and challenged our colleagues to answer correctly to win a special prize. The lucky winner of the quiz was none other than John Heri Larsen, who impressed by answering 2 out of 3 questions correctly without resorting to the internet. As a reward, John received a delicious Easter chocolate.
